National Training Wage Status – 6‐month Max Term

Responsibilities
* Complete a Certificate I in Workplace Skills through an external Registered Training Organisation.
* Obtain a First Aid Certificate.
* Attend all inductions, online and in‐person training sessions.
* Receive language, numeracy and literacy support.
* Support the Cairns Corps community services work and collaborate with local agencies.
* Receive tailored post‐traineeship support to become job‐ready and identify future work opportunities.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Queensland resident aged 15years or older.
* WWCC – QLD Blue Card (if over 18years).
* Pass reference checks and background checks.
* Not currently enrolled in, and not having previously completed, a Skilling Queenslanders for Work Project.
* Not possess a CertificateIII or higher in a related field (per Skilling Queenslanders for Worker requirements).
