Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer based at our Richlands site, you will step into an influential leadership position. You will drive technology operations, align investments with business growth, and ensure production continuity across our multi‐site manufacturing footprint.

What You'll Do
As our IT Operations & Technology Lead, you will lead technology operations and align IT governance with enterprise standards. You will lead a small, capable team to achieve high system availability by:
People Leadership: Coaching, supporting, and building capability within your direct reports daily.
Multi‐Site Operations: Delivering stable, secure IT operations across Brisbane, Victoria, Western Australia, and remote locations.
Service Delivery: Owning help‐desk and onsite support, keeping critical incident response times sharp.
High Availability: Maintaining core networks, servers, telephony, and end‐user devices to minimise business disruption.
Production Technology: Managing SCADA platforms, PLC devices, label printers, check‐weighers, and specialised apps (Bartender/Print N Apply).
Strategic Roadmap: Running a rolling 3–5 year technology roadmap focused on scalability, compliance, and standardisation.
Executive Governance: Delivering quantified, ROI‐driven technology investment recommendations and business cases to executive leadership.
Cross‐Functional Partnership: Partnering with Maintenance, Production, Quality, and Finance to lift performance and reduce downtime.
Commercial Judgement: Managing vendors, contractual SLAs, and Capex/Opex budgets within approved boundaries.
Food Safety Compliance: Ensuring IT infrastructure impacting food safety (e.g., environmental monitoring, labelling) passes all audits.
Sustainability & Safety: Driving e‐waste reduction, sustainable procurement, and a proactive WHS culture across all IT spaces.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Science, or Computer Science.
Experience: Proven leadership in rolling out IT infrastructure across multi‐site FMCG or manufacturing environments.
Project Governance: Strong project management (PMO) disciplines with experience establishing formal IT governance frameworks.
Technical Breadth: Working knowledge of computer systems, cybersecurity, network/systems administration, and SQL/Progress databases.
Operational Insight: Solid understanding of production‐critical IT frameworks, including SCADA/PLC interfaces and physical security.
Financial Acumen: Demonstrated capability in Capex/Opex planning, vendor renegotiation, and articulating risk mitigation.
Attributes: A calm, methodical problem‐solver under pressure who can easily translate complex technical concepts for non‐technical stakeholders.
