Creative Composites Pty Ltd is a growing Australian manufacturer of advanced composite panel solutions servicing the caravan and RV, transport, modular construction and building industries.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking two experienced, full‐time and hands‐on Shift Managers to lead our Morning Shift (4:30am – 1:30pm) and Afternoon Shift (12:00pm – 9:00pm) manufacturing operations at our Epping facility.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Executive General manager responsible for overseeing production, planning, workforce leadership, logistics coordination, operational efficiency, security and continuous improvement activities across the factory.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety, quality and delivery targets
* Link in to production planning, scheduling and workflow coordination
* Lead, coach and develop Supervisors, Team Leaders and production employees
* Drive workplace safety, compliance and housekeeping standards
* Coordinate materials, logistics and production resources
* Support maintenance coordination and equipment reliability
* Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
* Monitor operational performance, labour efficiency and production outcomes
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior manufacturing or production management role
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
* Experience driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
* Strong organisational, analytical and problem‐solving capability
* Experience using ERP/MRP systems and production reporting systems
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment
Required Education or Equivalent Experience
* Qualifications in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or a related discipline; or
* Significant equivalent practical manufacturing leadership experience
Experience within composites, transport, caravan/RV, modular construction or related manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.
