Role requirements include but are not limited to: Undertake and coordinate the delivery of a high- quality condition assessment services for QBuild clients, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials including collecting samples of suspected asbestos containing materials for laboratory testing. Research, evaluate and update information on buildings and building assets (eg. maintenance records asset information, previous building Management plans, etc) and use this information to produce detailed, high quality Maintenance Assessment Reports for the client. Identify building related maintenance and environmental risks that could impact upon the operation of inspected facilities, and provide a complete scope of works on repair, rectification and/or replacement options, including indicative costs. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of relevant Codes of Practice and legislative requirements of management and safe handling of Asbestos Containing Materials and provide recommendations and strategies in managing existing Asbestos Containing Materials based on risk and future use of the asset. Mandatory position requirements: o Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card o. • While not mandatory, a construction industry-related trade qualification would be considered favourably.
