Pay: $60.11 p/h (base rate inclusive of casual loading) + $2.50 p/h site allowance + Full penalty rates

The Opportunity
We're seeking Shutdown Electricians to join our team for upcoming works at Nyrstar – Port Pirie.
* Start: Immediate start (approx. 3-month duration)
* Roster: 12-hour shifts (Day Shift with potential for Night Shift)
* Employment: Casual with allowances and penalties
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance and upgrade tasks in a brownfield environment
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs
* SWA glanding and cable terminations
* Completion of testing documents and red-line drawings
* Work independently and within permit-to-work systems
The successful applicant will have:
* Trade Certificate – Electrician (mandatory)
* Working at Heights (mandatory)
* High Risk Licence (EWP preferred)
* Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
* Police Clearance or willing to obtain
* Clean-shaven for mask fit testing
* Prepared for daily drug & alcohol testing and blood lead level monitoring
Preferred:
* Experience with brownfield/shutdown environments
* Experience with permitting systems
Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol tests as part of the recruitment process. A National Police Clearance is also required for the role.
