We're currently recruiting a friendly Receptionist to provide first-class reception service for CH&CO on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.

As a Receptionist, you will work in a welcoming team to ensure that all staff and visitors are greeted and dealt with in a warm and efficient manner. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Provide a warm welcome, assist and direct guests/visitors, as the first point of contact
* Represent CH&CO in a way that positively affects client, staff or supplier's perceptions both face to face, email and over the telephone
* Inform RCP personnel when visitors have arrived
* Take ownership of the Members & Fellows lounge – providing daily hospitality services
* Assist with deliveries for events, including for exhibitors, coordinating with relevant teams to provide a seamless service for the event day and facilitate collections
* Aid in the smooth running of events by assisting the lead receptionist and event managers as per the business needs
* Work in close partnership with other relevant departments such as: Meetings and Events, Kitchen, Porterage, AV, Operations Team and other Contractors i.e. Security, Cleaners, Maintenance etc

Our ideal Receptionist will:

* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Possess fantastic organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
* Be competent in using Microsoft Office and general office equipment
* Display passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Be an excellent team player
* Have the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships
* Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability
