About The Role
Supporting the Club Manager in the day-to-day management of the gym is the responsibility of the Assistant Club Manager. The role plays a crucial part in supporting the Club Manager in boosting sales and profitability while maintaining a high level of member care.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in completing marketing activities for the club ensuring outreach requirements are being met weekly
* Contribute to recruiting, training, developing and managing PT contractors to create a high performing team, and in line with Policies & Procedures
* Support the management and drive of sales for the club
* Maintain gym standards including cleanliness, maintenance and WHS compliance
* Administration work including but not limited to reporting, budget planning, contractor invoicing etc.
* Build a welcoming and community-focused club culture
* Support member retention and delivering outstanding customer service experiences
About You
You are a motivated, dedicated and energetic professional with a track record of achieving goals. You thrive in a positive environment, enjoy building strong relationships with members and are passionate about fitness and leadership.
You Will Ideally Have
* Strong people skills and excellent organisational ability
* Experience building and supporting a personal training team
* Experience creating a positive club culture and member experience
* Sales confidence and the ability to drive club growth
* Understanding of HR processes and workplace health & safety practices (desirable)
Must Have Qualifications
* Minimum Certificate III & IV in Fitness or the ability to attain an equivalent qualification. No fitness qualification? We have you covered, you will be able to attain a basic fitness accreditation with us.
* Current First Aid certificate and CPR (or higher qualification).
* Must have appropriate police/working with children check.
* Tertiary qualifications in health, business or commerce or strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.
