The Role Our client based in Broken Hill are seeking MR Drivers to assist during the Winter peak season. Working closely with the Terminal/ Distribution Manager, you'll be responsible for effective and safe multi-drop delivery runs of products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural customers, as well as assisting with terminal duties as required. With a focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that you are meeting the needs of our customers across the region. Key Responsibilities Loading and/or unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format Repetitive manual handling of gas cylinder bottles Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with our client's Operational Procedures A professional approach and "can-do" attitude with the ability to work autonomously Skills and Experience Hold a current MR license Dangerous Good experience will also be looked upon favorably Demonstrate a minimum 2 years driving experience Be able to deliver to customers in Broken Hill and surroundings areas Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience adhering to health and safety requirements Motivated and able to use your own initiative Benefits Fantastic hourly rate with penalty rates Training and full uniform provided About Toll People Toll People are Australia's most recognised provider of Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehouse staff.
