Your Key responsibilities
* Develop and maintain relationships with the Office of the Minister, other government agencies (including departments and statutory bodies), Hospital and Health Services, the Queensland Ambulance Service and within the department to facilitate the coordination and implementation of Parliamentary, Government reporting, Cabinet and Executive Council processes.
* Contribute to a working environment that is relevant and responsive to business needs, values high performance, delivers superior client service and strives for continuous improvement and innovation.
* Work as part of a team to provide client‐focused responses to Parliamentary, Cabinet and Executive Government matters and actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti‐discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.

Participation in on-call and extended hours arrangements will be required from time to time for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the relevant award will apply.

From time to time, you may be required to work across the full spectrum of the Cabinet and Parliamentary Services team.

Role fit
* High‐level strategic, conceptual, critical thinking and analytical skills with a proven track record in identifying, negotiating, influencing, and implementing solutions to complex problems.
* High‐level negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and verbal communication skills, including experience in cultivating productive working relationships and partnerships across a range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven ability to research and analyse issues of significance to the Health portfolio to support the development of high quality and accurate briefing materials, drawing upon the relevant expertise of different areas across the Queensland Health system as required.
