Family Lawyer - Buderim/hybrid

We're seeking a skilled and passionate family lawyer to join our small, values-driven team on a part-time basis. This role offers genuine flexibility, ideal for balancing work with family, school hours, or other commitments with clear potential to grow into a full-time position with increased seniority.
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced family lawyer with at least two (2) years' post-admission experience ("PAE") to work approximately three (3) days per week (or equivalent), with scope to transition to full-time and take on greater responsibility within the firm. Based in Buderim, Sunshine Coast, this hybrid role combines remote and in-office work, with flexible hours tailored to your lifestyle, whether accommodating school runs or personal commitments.
You'll manage a diverse caseload, including parenting arrangements, property settlements, financial agreements, and, when necessary, litigation. Our focus is on resolution, advocating strongly for clients while avoiding unnecessary costs or conflict. Experience in court appearance work is highly valued, as we tend to brief external counsel only for final hearings.
About You
* Admitted to practice in Queensland with a current practising certificate.
* At least two (2) years' PAE in family law.
* Australian citizenship is required for this position.
* Confident communicator with strong skills in negotiation, drafting, and advocacy.
