About the Role
This is a leadership opportunity where you will do more than manage. You will inspire, influence, and transform.
As the team leader, you will provide guidance to a team of skilled professionals to evolve process standards, deliver impactful improvement projects, and set clear operational targets across Claims & Assessing to ensure process management excellence is embedded across the business.
Position Accountabilities
You will be responsible for leading and guiding your team to:
* Partner with business stakeholders to understand business strategy whilst generating innovative ideas for achieving desired business outcomes.
* Build and maintain subject matter expertise in the Process Analysis practice, including coaching, mentoring, and ownership of the C&A Process Management Framework, processes, tools, and techniques.
* Monitor and report on the process analyst team's outputs and delivery.
* Motivate and evaluate the team in alignment with an internal capability & leadership framework.
* Ensure effective working relationships for the team across the technology delivery teams.
* Participate effectively in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and release planning meetings.
* Lead the A&G process management community to ensure organisational alignment and consistency in Process Management.
* Maintain effective stakeholder relationships that deliver capability uplift across C&A in understanding and advocating process management techniques and approaches to deliver improved business outcomes.
What experience you'll bring
* Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience managing and developing people.
* Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and modelling (BPMN), including As-Is/To-Be process mapping and data models.
* Experience with industry-standard process frameworks, taxonomies, and governance models.
* Demonstrated process improvement experience.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders across organisational functions.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience with BIC or similar BPM tool/s.
* Experience with Atlassian tools – Jira & Confluence.
* Experience in the General Insurance industry or Financial Services, or other heavily regulated industries.
* Familiarity with APQC and/or other process architecture frameworks.
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or other process improvement qualification (desirable)
