Position Information

The Meadows Public School, established in 1890 and located in the suburb of Seven Hills, is part of the Bungarribee Principals Network in Western Sydney. The school has an enrolment of approximately 340 students, including 11% Aboriginal students and 69% of students from a Language Background other than English.

The school continues to work in partnership with its Schools as Community Centre (SaCC) to support early childhood learners and their families and serves as the base school for the Itinerant Support (Hearing) Team, providing specialist support to students and schools across the network.

Our teaching staff includes both experienced and early career teachers who share a strong commitment to evidence-informed teaching, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and student engagement. Analysis of school data and evidence highlights ongoing priorities in reading, numeracy, attendance, wellbeing, and teacher collaboration. These priorities guide professional learning and classroom practice to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching and improved student outcomes.

The school implements Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) and provides a range of co-curricular and leadership opportunities supported by an active and engaged Parents and Citizens Association. The Meadows Public School maintains strong connections within the Blacktown Learning Community, participating in shared programs that enhance student voice, leadership and high potential and gifted education.

The Meadows Public School is a welcoming, inclusive, and culturally responsive community that values respect, wellbeing, learning, improvement, and cultural diversity, and works collaboratively to ensure every student is known, valued and cared for.
