Maintenance Electrician - Afternoon Shift

We're now seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team on the afternoon shift, playing a critical role in keeping our operation running at peak performance.
About the Role
Working Monday to Friday (3pm-11pm), you'll provide hands‐on maintenance support across our packhouse operations. You'll balance real‐time production support with planned maintenance, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and minimal downtime.
This is a role where autonomy, technical expertise, and problem‐solving truly matter.
Key Responsibilities
* Support live production while completing preventive maintenance during planned downtime
* Diagnose and repair faults across electrical and mechanical systems
* Maintain and service packhouse infrastructure, plant equipment, and machinery
* Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns and urgent work orders
* Plan and prioritise maintenance tasks in line with operational needs
* Complete preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
* Troubleshoot issues to minimise disruption to production
* Accurately raise, update, and close work orders in maintenance systems
* Contribute to continuous improvement and maintenance optimisation initiatives
* Work safely at all times, adhering to company policies and procedures
About You
You're a trade‐qualified Maintenance Electrician who thrives in a fast‐paced, production‐driven environment. You're confident working independently, solving problems on the go, and keeping operations moving.
You will bring
* Current Electrical Licence (essential)
* Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural environments
* Strong fault‐finding and troubleshooting capability
* Experience with pumps, motors, and plant equipment
* Proven background in preventive maintenance and breakdown response
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
* Exposure to food production, agriculture, or greenhouse environments (highly regarded)
* Full working rights in Australia
