The Role - Based in Gympie, QLD
This role is based at our head office in Gympie, with oversight of operations across all locations nationally.
You'll be working closely with leadership while staying connected to what's happening on the ground across sites - regular travel to all office locations is a core requirement of the role.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a National Operations Manager to help take our operations to the next level.
This is a hands‐on leadership role – not corporate, not theoretical. You'll bridge strategy and execution across multiple sites, helping drive consistency, performance and scalability.
What You'll Be Doing
Operational Leadership
Drive consistency across warehouse, production support and logistics operations
Build and implement practical SOPs that actually get used
Support site leaders (not override them)
Performance & Visibility
Establish and track operational KPIs
Improve visibility of productivity, performance and issues
Identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements
Support operations across Gympie, Malaga, Adelaide, Kalgoorlie, Mt Isa and Dubbo
Travel between sites to build relationships, support teams and drive alignment
Adapt approach based on site needs, size and complexity
WHS, Compliance & Facilities
Own WHS systems and compliance
Manage audits, risk reduction and site safety standards
Oversee maintenance and asset management programs
Systems & Growth
Improve systems and workflows across operations
Support ERP readiness and business growth
Ensure operations scale with expanding demand
What We're Looking For
You're practical, grounded and solutions-focused – someone who knows how to get things done.
You'll likely bring:
* Experience in multi‐site operations, warehousing or logistics leadership
* Willingness and ability to travel regularly between sites
* A strong track record in process improvement and operational consistency
* Ability to work across cross‐functional teams
* Solid understanding of WHS and compliance
