Truck Driver/Yard Person
About the role
As a Truck Driver/Yard Person you will support our workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time.
* Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities
* Performing daily pre-start checklist on vehicles to ensure they are fit for operations
* Using the forklift to transport steel across the yard and onto the loading bed
* Operating a variety of tools including grinders, power drills and other cutting or shaping tools as required to complete assigned tasks
* Loading and unloading of pickups and deliveries
* Delivering orders to sub-contractors and customers
* Assisting the Workshop Superintendent to manage the workshop stores and consumables
* Ability to take ownership of the yard

About you
* You will ideally have experience of working within the fabrication industry.
* HR Drivers Licence - current and valid
* Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner
* Ability to work effectively as a team
