The Role
You'll work closely with Managers and Partners to deliver a mix of business services, tax and accounting work for a diverse portfolio of SMEs, family groups and sole traders.
Your day will include:
Preparing financial statements, BAS, IAS and tax returns
Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects
Liaising with clients and building strong relationships
Working on more complex jobs as your skills grow
Using cloud-based systems such as Xero, MYOB and APS
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety and exposure to high-quality advisory work—not just compliance.
About You
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Accountant who brings:
2+ years experience in business services/tax within public practice
A genuine desire to grow your technical and client-facing skills
Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
Experience with Xero or similar cloud platforms
CA/CPA underway or a desire to commence (fully supported)
