Responsibilities
* Develop, provide and evaluate Emergency Medicine clinical/emergency nursing care that ensures optimal patient/client/family and community outcomes.
* Use professional competencies to improve clinical service outcomes through effective research and quality improvement activities.
* Actively participate statewide and nationally in research, publication and education in the speciality of Emergency Medicine.
* Provide leadership, advice and mentorship for other senior nurses practicing in the field of Emergency Medicine Nursing.
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner, with ongoing compliance maintained.
* Extensive contemporary Emergency Department experience with advanced assessment, diagnostic reasoning and autonomous clinical decision‐making skills.
* Proven leadership, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive quality improvement, education and positive patient outcomes.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $148,470 per annum. 12% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
* Post Graduate Allowance up to 10% based on qualification type.
* Salary packaging includes living expenses up to $9,010, meal entertainment up to $2,650 per FBT year and other benefits.
* Travel and relocation assistance up to $15,000 for overseas applicants and $10,000 for interstate applicants.
