We are seeking a Net Zero (JONZA) Project Manager.
The Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) comprises 12 local Councils which collaborate effectively as a group to deliver important projects, undertake strategic planning and engage with governments and key stakeholders on identified key priorities. RAMJO's core functions and ongoing advocacy strengthens the long-term sustainability, wellbeing and livability of the region's communities.
The RAMJO Net Zero (JONZA) Project Manager is responsible for advancing RAMJO's three primary roles by ensuring value for RAMJO member councils and state agency partners through management and coordination of the Joint Organisation Net Zero Acceleration (JONZA) program.
The role includes, but is not limited to implementing the Project Management Plan for JONZA, drawing off the RAMJO Regional Energy Strategy, which includes new goals and focus areas as identified by member councils. This will include typical project management duties such as identifying and managing project risks, key milestones, reporting and project outcomes, working with member councils to ensure project deliverables are accomplished.
This is a full‐time fixed term to 31 December 2026 with possibility of extension dependent on funding, at $122,320 per annum, plus 12% employer contribution to superannuation, with kilometre allowance or possible vehicle usage on an as‐needs basis. It is an expectation that the successful applicant will be a resident within the RAMJO geographic footprint. The option to adopt a hybrid working arrangement will be discussed with the preferred applicant.
