Job Description
School Counsellor is required to support the learning and wellbeing of students at Bombala High School, engaging with families, teachers, and external agencies to enhance student outcomes.

Remuneration
Package valued up to $182,461. Base salary ranges from $101,122 to $160,983, plus leave loading and employer's super contribution. Progression to $160,983 depends on experience and certification.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide counselling and psychological assessment of students.
* Collaborate with teachers, classmates, and external agencies to enhance learning and wellbeing.
* Participate in professional supervision and peer supervision.
* Apply evidence‐based interventions, case formulation, and report writing.
* Support students and families with mental health needs.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria
* Registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Experience in counselling using evidence‐based interventions with children and young people.
* Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for diverse students.
* Ability to travel between worksites and hold a valid unrestricted driver's licence.
* Approval to teach or the ability to commence an application for such approval.
