About the Role
The Finance Officer is accountable to the Principal Adviser Finance for the provision of external licensee customer support, and internal financial and budgeting analysis and reporting, and support to the finance team and internal customers.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to analyse data and issues, think logically, and interpret a broad range of information, at times complex, and make sound judgments.
* Experience in preparation and analysis of management reports within an accrual accounting environment。
* Experience in the development, review and forecasting of budget allocations.
* Working knowledge of financial and accrual accounting standards, structures, principles, methods, procedures, processes and practices, particularly as applied in the SA Government environment.

Desirable Qualifications, Knowledge or Experience
* An appropriate Degree level qualification in Accounting or accounting related discipline (majoring in Accounting).
Remuneration
ASO4 ($79,432 - $83,266) + 12% super added to your choice of super fund.
Contract
Term contract (up to eight months) and full time (37.5 hours per week).
Special Conditions
* This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. A current National Police Clearance is essential.
* The incumbent may be required to work out of hours and as the need arises.
