Guest Experience Coordinator
Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, the Guest Experience Coordinator will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the customer service staff under direct supervision and ensuring the delivery of high levels of customer service. The role includes delivering services to customers efficiently and effectively in line with Belgravia Leisure's mission, vision and values, providing a first‐class experience for the facility's customers.
The Role
The ideal candidate is energetic, dynamic, outgoing and enthusiastic, with outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence. The role involves weekly nights and weekend work as required, and requires the ability to communicate effectively with all members and guests.
Key Accountabilities
* Provide excellent customer service to all customers, in person and over the telephone, ensuring quality of service meets agreed standards.
* Support the enrollment of children into the centre's swimming and water safety programs.
* Ensure customer service staff are knowledgeable about the Centre's services and programs.
* Maintain accurate daily cash handling records using POS systems.
* Respond to community requests for bookings.
* Implement processes for the success of the Learn to Swim Program.
* Ensure staff and patrons understand aquatic supervision requirements.
* Conduct safe and efficient operations in line with legislative guidelines.
* Meet reporting requirements.
* Maintain attention to detail in administrative tasks.
Essential Qualifications
* Cash handling and customer service experience.
* Passion for customer service and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Current Level 1 Senior First Aid.
* Current CPR.
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Current Victorian Police Check.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in a fast‐paced, multi‐faceted customer service role.
* Experience with a computer‐based point of sale system.
