About The Role

We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead a high‐impact sourcing function and deliver meaningful value across our Own Brand portfolio. This role plays a critical part in driving commercial outcomes, improving margin performance, and supporting long‐term business growth through best‐in‐class sourcing practices.

Reporting to the Head of Better Buying, you'll lead a team of sourcing professionals and partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver strategic sourcing initiatives, strengthen supplier relationships, and unlock significant cost and value opportunities.

* Lead and execute a strategic sourcing roadmap delivering substantial cost savings and value creation
* Drive margin improvement through data‐led insights, benchmarking and supplier strategy
* Partner with Own Brand and business units to align sourcing strategies with category growth plans
* Build and lead a high‐performing sourcing team, embedding best‐in‐class processes and tools
* Champion continuous improvement, leveraging technology and AI to optimise sourcing outcomes
* Strengthen stakeholder engagement across Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and Sustainability
* Drive governance, reporting and accountability across sourcing performance and KPIs
* Lead complex commercial negotiations with suppliers across multiple categories and markets

About You And Your Skills

You are a commercially astute and forward‐thinking leader who thrives on delivering tangible business impact. You bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands‐on execution, with the ability to navigate complexity and drive results through people, partnerships and data. You're passionate about building capability, challenging the status quo, and continuously improving the way sourcing delivers value to the organisation.

* Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline
* Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing and commercial strategy
* A proven track record of leading large, complex negotiations and delivering value
* Experience leading high‐performing teams in fast‐paced, dynamic environments
* Strong commercial acumen with a relentless focus on value and margin improvement
* Experience embedding new tools, technologies or transformation initiatives
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with high levels of resilience and adaptability
* Strong governance mindset with an eye for detail and compliance
