Project Manager – Proposals
Location: Alice Springs, NT – Full‐time
Role Purpose & Scope
Key member of the Project Development Office within Amentum's Engineering, Projects, Integration & Construction (EPIC) team. Responsible for end‐to‐end proposal development and submission for construction, operation, maintenance and management of facility assets, infrastructure and systems in Australia.
Responsibilities
* Manage the proposal development and submission process: interpret RFPs, coordinate RFIs, develop solution strategies, prepare SOWs, conduct bid analysis, and build strategic execution packages.
* Lead and facilitate the development, review and release of all proposal elements.
* Develop detailed project execution packages to support awarded proposals.
* Support and manage project execution as assigned, ensuring documentation is maintained IAW current document control processes.
* Promote health, safety and environmental compliance at site and within the workplace.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as requested.
Qualifications
* Essential Undergraduate Qualification in Business, Management or Project Management.
* Desirable Post‐Graduate Qualification in Business, Management or Project Management.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum experience in proposal and project management processes.
* Strong proposal document preparation skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe suites.
* Document management experience.
* Experience developing proposals/bids and proposal planning with Microsoft Project.
* Construction project management and estimation knowledge.
* Experience with SharePoint and MS Project.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Typical office environment with occasional lifting up to 10 kg, kneeling, standing, walking and routine sitting. Requires constant use of speech and hearing and high mental alertness to meet deadlines.
Eligibility & Requirements
* Minimum age 18 years.
* Fluency in English.
* Australian or US citizen, or the ability to obtain required security clearance (TS/SCI).
* Completion of all required security and background checks.
