About the Opportunity
Our client is a rapidly growing global infrastructure platform operating across next-generation digital and technology infrastructure markets. The business develops and operates large-scale infrastructure assets across multiple international markets and is entering a period of substantial growth and financing activity.
As the platform continues to expand, there is a need to strengthen capability across structured and project financing activities. This is an opportunity to join a highly commercial and entrepreneurial team working on large, complex transactions within a fast-moving environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, this role will focus on leading and executing secured and structured financing transactions across a global infrastructure portfolio.
The successful candidate will take ownership of multiple live transactions simultaneously and drive processes from initial structuring through to financial close, coordinating stakeholders across finance, legal, commercial and operational teams.
The role sits within a lean team environment and offers the opportunity to contribute beyond core transaction execution into broader strategic financing and analytical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead execution of secured and structured financing transactions from initial structuring through to financial close
* Manage multiple live transactions simultaneously across varying stages of execution
* Coordinate end-to-end transaction workstreams including:
* approval papers
* legal documentation
* transaction close
* Drive commercial negotiations with financing counterparties and advisers
* Prepare recommendations and transaction materials for senior stakeholders and executive leadership
* Manage external advisers including legal, technical and financial consultants
* Ensure transactions progress efficiently and are delivered on time and within budget
* Evaluate financing opportunities and funding structures across infrastructure assets
* Assess and develop appropriate financing solutions across secured debt, project finance and structured financing markets
* Support broader financing strategy and capital structure initiatives
* Contribute to analytical work supporting funding decisions and strategic initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Partner closely with finance, commercial, legal and operational teams
* Assist in developing scalable financing processes as transaction volumes increase
* Support broader commercial initiatives where required
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates with:
* Degree qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline
* Approximately 10–15+ years' experience, including meaningful exposure across project finance, structured finance, infrastructure financing or asset-backed transactions (ideally having funded data centre projects, if not, infrastructure or real estate).
* Demonstrated experience independently leading financing transactions from structuring through to financial close
* Strong experience managing complex workstreams across multiple stakeholders
* Strong financial modelling capability, ideally including project finance or debt sizing models
* Experience across infrastructure sectors such as digital infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport, real estate or related asset classes
* Ability to negotiate sophisticated commercial and legal terms
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a high-growth and entrepreneurial environment where individuals take ownership and contribute beyond narrowly defined responsibilities
