An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Midwife Specialist to join the team in Geraldton in the Midwest.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated significant knowledge, experience and leadership in area of specialty.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a collegiate team situation, using effective interpersonal, communication and problem‐solving skills.
* Demonstrated people management abilities commensurate with the role.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of quality improvement initiative using research principles to support evidence-based practice, including development of policies and guidelines.
Position Profile
Demonstrates leadership and role modelling in the care of pregnant women seeking pregnancy, birthing, and postnatal care within the community and managing MGP. Responsible for the delivery of quality women's centred care, developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice and initiating research and quality improvement activities. Provides a consultative service within area of expertise to customers within the hospital.
