Case Manager, Domestic and Family Violence

These positions are open to women and gender diverse people.

- Salary: Social & Community Services Level 4 | $44.58 to $47.97 per hour + Super

About The Team
The Gendered Violence and Family Programs Team provides a vital role in supporting cis, non-binary and gender diverse women and their families impacted by domestic and family violence.

About These Opportunities
In these roles, you’ll have the chance to work across a range of programs, including Domestic and Family Violence, Safe House Support, Keeping Women Safe in Their Homes (Darwin and Katherine), and HomeSafe.
In This Role You Will
- Deliver crisis intervention, risk and safety planning, and holistic support under YWCA frameworks.
- Conduct intake assessments using the NT Common Risk Assessment Tool.
- Facilitate property safety upgrades in collaboration with clients.
- Build respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Maintain accurate case notes and reports; participate in after-hours on-call roster.
About You
The ideal applicant will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field.
- Proven experience in culturally appropriate, strength-based case work with women affected by domestic and family violence.
- Strong knowledge of domestic and family violence issues, including legal, child protection and policy frameworks.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication and interpersonal skills.
