Dispute Resolution Specialist – Personal Injury – Melbourne, VIC (12-Month Contract Role) About the Role
* Conduct the review of disputes to ensure the decision is technically sound.
* Effectively provide a strategy on how to best progress the dispute.
* Proactively engage with employers, the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC) and employee representatives to facilitate the early resolution of disputes.
* Formally represent Allianz during the conciliation process and at conference (if required) in accordance with WorkSafe and AAL policies and procedures.
* Ensure dispute resolution practices are in accordance with the requirements of Allianz/WorkSafe licence agreement.
* Ensure systems are updated with conciliation reviews, pre‐conciliation reviews, and outcomes within set timeframes.
* Provide superior customer service to all parties.
* Identify skill gaps in technical and legal matters and provide input on training needs in conjunction with the team manager so learnings can be shared with claim teams.
About You
* Experience in Personal Injury and Worker's Compensation.
* Basic understanding of the WIRC Act 2013 and associated WorkSafe policies and guidelines pertaining to initial entitlement determinations.
* Strong customer service attributes incorporating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of WorkSafe operating models and IT systems.
* A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
