Role Overview
Reporting to the ANZ Director, the Security Consultant and Training Manager will manage and support the PACS consultant community, customers and develop/deliver technical training in the ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities
* Establish and deliver a consistent manufacturer‐led access‐control training and certification ecosystem.
* Ensure correct design, configuration and use of HID products in the field.
* Reduce partner deployment risk, support escalations and warranty issues.
* Support revenue growth through improved solution confidence and partner capability.
* Provide authoritative access‐control consultant training aligned to product roadmap and architecture.
* Align training to product roadmaps and new‐product introductions (NPI).
* Collaborate with global teams on accreditation programs for channel partners and integrators.
* Develop product‐centric training for readers, credentials, controllers, mobile access and biometrics.
* Plan and deliver classroom and virtual technical training, bootcamps and certification sessions.
* Act independently as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects throughout the sales cycle.
* Collaborate with regional and strategic sales teams to drive growth.
* Keep up‐to‐date with HID product and service evolution and new offers.
* Establish and maintain a Security Consultant engagement framework via regular training workshops, design reviews and collaboration.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
* Minimum 5+ years in sales and/or technical support roles.
* Experience in Physical Access Control solutions and solution‐selling environments.
* Knowledge of SaaS or cloud‐based licensing models is desirable.
* Professional, dynamic, friendly with genuine interest in business.
* Skilled in reporting, forecasting and presentation; resilient in converting prospects to customers.
* Uncompromising attention to detail, multitasking and self‐motivation.
* Strong problem‐solving and prioritisation skills.
* Experience with CRM such as Salesforce.
