Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager to manage and maximize the overall success of the store.
You will be responsible for creating a customer-centric environment, achieving sales targets, delivering consistent store standards, and managing costs. Additionally, you will train and coach the store team to deliver service excellence and achieve business objectives.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of pet enthusiasts who share your passion for providing exceptional customer service and promoting the welfare of pets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A leader with a hands-on approach and a natural love for animals and people.
* At least two years' experience working with a high-volume retailer, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
* Strong retail management/supervision skills, with a minimum 1 year experience in management.
* Proven ability to lead a team with a focus on team engagement, including training and developing staff.
* Friendly, patient, and eager to develop and train team members.
* Organised and detail-oriented with a focus on achieving KPI's.
