Occupational Therapist (Full-time / Part-time)

We are seeking a passionate and motivatedOccupational Therapistto join our growing team. This unique role offers the opportunity to support clients in the Wheatbelt region.

Qualifications

Qualifications

* Bachelor or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA).
* Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered if confident and capable). Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Wheatbelt region.
* National Police Clearance andNDIS Worker Screening Check(or willingness to obtain).
* CurrentFirst Aid and CPR certification(or willingness to obtain).
* Working With Children Check.

Experience

* Minimum 2 years' clinical experience, with some related experience in community or aged care settings.
* Demonstrated experience in OT assessments and interventions for older adults
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a MDT team.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and respectful approach to older clients
* Proven ability to manage time, prioritize workload, and work autonomously in the community.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional ethics, and continuous improvement.
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of Support at Home, CHSP and My Aged Care Frameworks.
* Experience with OT/ environmental/ falls assessment and Aged Care Funding documentation.
* Understanding manual handling, dementia care, and falls preventions strategies.
