Southlands Medical Services is an established privately owned General Medical Practice with a well equipped surgery located in Willetton. You will be working with a friendly and supportive team of General Practitioners, Nurses, and Receptionists.
The RN position available is for casual work 2 full days a week, plus holiday and leave cover.
Requirements
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous experience working in General Practice
* Current CPR certification
* A caring and collaborative approach to patient care
* Proven multi‐tasking, problem solving and time management skills
* Current AHPRA registration with full working rights in Australia for the next 12 months at least
* Proficiency in speaking English is a must
* Immunisation Certificate completed from SA Health with basic experience on storage, cold chain breach management and administering vaccinations as per the National Immunisation Program
* Anaphylaxis (ASCIA) certificate
* Desensitisation Certificate (ASCIA)
* Influenza Education Module from Department of Health
* Knowledge in using Best Practice Software is preferred
Responsibilities
* Assisting our doctors with minor surgical procedures
* Health Assessments
* Immunisations and Injections
* Wound Management and Dressings
* ECG, Spirometry, Ear Syringing
* Daily co-ordination of the treatment room, stock control and medical equipment maintenance
* Sterilisation and Infection Control
