We are looking for an energetic and passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our team at the General Pants store in Macquarie!
About the role
* As the Assistant Store Manager, you work alongside the Store Manager to drive sales and achieve KPI results, and build and train your team to deliver an excellent, fun customer‑driven culture within the store.
* Work closely with the Store Manager to ensure day‑to‑day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
* Review store sales reports and create action plans with the Store Manager and team.
* Hold yourself and each individual accountable for their own results through constant feedback.
* Create a store roster according to daily traffic, peak periods, and optimize team resources.
* Support efficient inventory management, including stocktakes and cycle counts.
* Implement visual merchandising standards within the store and assist with in‑store activations.
* Mentor and coach the store team to allow them to grow, celebrate their strengths, and address their gaps through honesty, generosity, and empowerment.
About you
* At least 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience in a retail environment.
* You have a genuine love and understanding for fashion and our brands.
* You can confidently lead, motivate, and engage a team environment.
* You have proven experience and success in coaching and developing teams and individuals.
* You have a proven track record of driving and exceeding sales targets and budgets.
* You possess sound knowledge and proven success in retail operations, including budgets, wages, rostering, visual merchandising, stock management, and shrinkage.
* You have full Australian working rights.
