About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Front of Store Supervisor to take ownership of the front of our store at Karratha Adventure Sports.
This is a hands‐on role focused on keeping the front counter, tills, and surrounding areas running smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You'll be responsible for ensuring strong customer flow at the counter, maintaining well‐presented merchandising, and keeping customer orders organised and on track.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, takes pride in presentation, and can keep things running without needing constant direction.
About the Business
Karratha Adventure Sports is a locally owned, second‐generation retail business servicing the Pilbara region.
With over 1300m2 of retail space and a team of approximately 25 staff, we operate across fishing, camping, dive & sports, and marine.
We are known for our strong customer service, product knowledge, and community connection — and we're continuing to build a team that takes pride in doing things properly.
Key Responsibilities Tills & Front Counter
* Oversee the daily operation of all tills
* Ensure smooth customer flow and efficient service
* Support and guide staff on correct POS procedures
* Maintain a clean, organised, and professional front counter area
Customer Orders
* Ensure all customer orders (Click & Collect, special orders, and in‐store requests) are actioned promptly
* Liaise with departments to confirm stock availability and order status
* Follow up outstanding orders to ensure timely fulfilment
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding order readiness and delays
* Ensure completed orders are correctly labelled, stored, and ready for collection
Merchandising (Front of Store)
* Own the presentation of all areas surrounding the tills
* Ensure displays are fully stocked, faced, and visually appealing
* Maintain clear and accurate pricing and promotional signage
* Identify opportunities to improve product placement and impulse sales
Front Counter Product Areas
* Maintain stock levels and presentation of insect repellent and related products
* Ensure displays remain relevant and well stocked
* Monitor stock gaps and communicate with managers
Marine Goods Processing
* Receive, check, and process incoming marine stockEnsure accurate pricing, tagging, and system entry
* Prepare products for shop floor display in a timely manner

Remuneration & Benefits
* Hourly rate: $29-32 per hour full time, based on experience and capability
* Penalties, leave loading, and superannuation apply
