The responsibilities of this role include:

* Providing support in everyday activities around the home, promoting independence and autonomy.
* Assisting with hygiene and personal care, ensuring the customer's physical and emotional needs are met.
* Supporting the customer with activities outside the home environment, such as social events and outings.
* Assisting with medication compliance, including the dispensation of prescription medication, under the guidance of the customer's healthcare team.
* Meal assistance, including meal preparation, to ensure the customer has access to nutritious food.

This role requires a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support, as well as relevant experience as a Disability Support Worker. A driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance are also essential. The successful candidate will have NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months), and National police clearance or be willing to obtain these certifications.
