Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Consultant, you are passionate about delighting Telstra's customers through outstanding customer service. You achieve this by providing an exceptional in‐store customer journey, and through your collaborative approach you empower customers by identifying the products and services they need to transform their telecommunications experience.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Deliver exceptional customer experiences by helping customers find the right products and services and ensuring their time at Telstra is memorable.
2. Be a go‐to tech expert by staying up‐to‐date with the latest gadgets and services, offering informed guidance and solutions.
3. Use consultative selling skills to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs, keeping customers connected.
4. Collaborate closely with your team to create a welcoming environment where everyone is supported to achieve store goals.

5. Great communication skills – natural at connecting with people and improving their day.
6. Solution‐oriented approach – comfortable thinking on the feet and tailoring solutions for each customer.
7. Sales drive – motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
8. Passion for learning – eager to grow and develop skills in a dynamic environment.
9. Resilience and positivity – a can‐do attitude even when things get busy.
10. Customer‐facing experience – previous experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
Salary & Benefits
11. Full Time: annual fixed remuneration of $64,915.20 per year (incl. 12% superannuation). Junior rates apply for those under 20 years of age.
12. Part Time: hourly rate of $30.33 per hour (incl. 12% superannuation and 10% variable remuneration, when eligible).
13. Variable remuneration eligibility, calculation and payment determined by plan rules.
