Heavy Lifting Operations Manager
\
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile crane equipment at construction sites.
\
Key Responsibilities:
\
\
1. Manage inbound freight, logistics, laydown, material transport
\
2. Operate Franners and lifting 60 to 80 tonne
\
3. Work in collaboration with construction teams, engineers, and supervisors to move and position heavy materials, equipment, and structures
\
4. Safely and efficiently operate mobile crane equipment
\
5. Maintain mobile plant safe working conditions
\
6. Conduct daily pre-start inspections
\
7. Reporting of faults and anomalies with mobile machinery and equipment
\
8. Ensure a safe and efficient operation of machinery at all times
\
9. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
\
10. Adhere to established OH&S policy and procedures
\
11. Other duties as required by management
\
12. Maintain records and reports as required
\
13. Perform other tasks as directed by management
\
14. Assist in training and development of junior staff members
\
15. Participate in regular performance reviews and goal setting
\
16. Promote a positive and professional work environment
\
17. Achieve targets and objectives set by management
\
18. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

30. Provide input into budgeting and forecasting processes

31. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors

32. Implement and maintain quality control procedures
\
33. Plan and coordinate projects and events
\
34. Supervise and train staff
\
35. Perform other tasks as directed by management
\

Requirements:
\
\
40. Minimum 5 years operator experience in a similar role
\
41. Qualifications include current Australian Driver's License, C6 - Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 60T, C1 - Operation of a slewing mobile crane with a capacity of up to 100T, Franner, Dogman/Rigger tickets, Construction White/Blue Card, EWP, Working at Heights tickets, Bridge Crane, Slinging/Rigging, Pick and Carry Cranes, Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen, Full Working Rights in Australia
