National Sales Manager – Agricultural Sector

Over the past 10 years, the business has grown continuously, and in the coming months will be consolidating multiple warehouses and relocating to a new office and warehouse. We are now hiring a National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across Australia and join us on this exciting journey of challenges and growth.
About the Role
The National Sales Manager will oversee our national sales strategy, leading a growing team to drive expansion, build customer relationships, and deliver consistent, sustainable results. This position requires strong leadership, hands-on agricultural knowledge, and a deep commitment to supporting the local farming community.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with business goals
* Establish, lead, mentor and motivate the regional sales team
* Expand and maintain relationships with key clients and distributors
* Identify new market opportunities and oversee their development
* Represent Australand at agricultural events, conferences, and field days
* Oversee sales reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
* Collaborate closely with logistics, marketing and procurement teams
* Support product development and ensure customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 10 years of senior level experience in agricultural sales or related field
* Highly driven, hardworking and eager to take on challenges
* Proven leadership and team management experience
* Strong understanding of fertilisers, irrigation, crop protection, or farm supply products; excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and passion for agriculture
* Ability to travel as required across Australia
