We're seeking an experienced and driven Senior Chef / Head Chef to lead our kitchen team for an exciting event in Kalamunda. Knowledge of local suppliers and supplier networks is required.
This is a fast-paced operation with a simple, curated themed menu, similar to a QSR-style environment. We're looking for someone who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and can deliver consistent, high-quality food service during busy trade periods.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations
* Assist in bringing to life a curated themed menu
* Manage rostering, ordering, stock control, and kitchen systems
* Manage supplier relationships, ordering schedules, and product quality to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Maintain labour and COG percentages in line with targets
* Ensure consistency, quality, and speed of service
* Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
* Maintain high food safety and cleanliness standards
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in high-volume kitchens or large-scale events
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and cost control
* Experience working in fast-paced service environments
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team under pressure
* Physically fit and capable of handling demanding service periods
* Reliable, adaptable, and solution-focused
