Responsibilities
As the Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the operational and clinical management of the ward, coordinating the activity of the nursing staff and associated resources. Working in collaboration with medical specialists, you will be responsible for the efficient management, coordination and leadership of the ward team, providing evidence-based and high quality patient centred care. The Clinical Manager will ensure that the clinical risk of the unit is minimised through following and maintaining clinical guidelines and policies and ongoing development of high-quality skilled nursing workforce.
What You Bring
Registered as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nurses Board of South Australia and holds a current Practising Certificate, with a minimum 4 years post graduate experience.
Holds a relevant tertiary qualification
Demonstrated Clinical expertise and post graduate qualifications (if appropriate)
Demonstrated experience in the planning and preparation of educational programs and resource materials
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service and continuous quality improvement
Creativity and vision to propose new initiatives and/or change existing practices to meet future organisational and employee needs
