Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Beaumaris for a Travel Agency Manager. The Travel Agency Manager will lead and oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the seamless management of travel services. This role involves team leadership, fostering client and supplier relationships, and implementing sales strategies to achieve business objectives. The Manager will also track performance metrics and contribute to creating innovative and customer-focused solutions.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the retail travel agency, ensuring a high standard of client service and operational excellence.
* Input for leisure travel strategy
* Work with the Head of Operations to implement strategies, policies, and procedures consistently within the local branch.
* Drive the success of sales and service targets through effective leadership and performance management.
* Develop, coach, and support staff to uphold a customer-first, results-driven culture.
* Drive and activate local area marketing initiatives, aligned with national marketing and global strategies, to attract new customers, generate leads, and build strong community ties.
* Identify and pursue local growth opportunities in accordance with overall business goals.
* Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, partners, and local stakeholders to maximise business opportunities.
* Represent the agency at local events, networking functions, and in the community to promote the brand and strengthen market presence.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in retail and leisure travel
* Proven leadership experience
* Experience with or enthusiasm for community marketing, local partnerships, or small business growth within a structured brand framework.
* Strong understanding of retail operations, staff development, and performance management.
* Proven commercial awareness and budget management experience
* Strong existing relationships with a range of leisure suppliers
* Exceptional client service skills with strong communication
* Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
* Flexible and adaptable style and approach
