Hours Per Week: 16 hours per week.
Location: James Fletcher Hospital (flexible); working from home considered.
About the Role
Work closely with the research team to develop the protocol extension for the Telehealth Increased Access to Treatment in Rural Areas (TIATRA) project.
Complete and submit ethics amendments and documentation.
Liaise with consumers, mental health staff, and other stakeholders.
Implement the extended TIATRA protocol, exploring sustainability and collecting qualitative and quantitative data.
Assist with literature searches, scoping reviews, drafting manuscripts from archival data, and qualitative analysis.
Supervise research volunteers, help write grant applications, and chair research meetings.
Coordinate job-share arrangements or maternity relief positions as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate clinical psychology qualification of no less than two years full-time duration, or an equivalent qualification, displayed on the Psychology Board of Australia website.
Experience developing and implementing quality improvement, evaluation, or research projects.
Strong skills in collecting, interpreting, and reporting both qualitative and quantitative data.
Interest in borderline personality disorder (BPD) and/or eating disorders (ED) is highly regarded.
Analytical, organised, and able to meet deadlines while contributing to research that drives better care and outcomes for consumers.
