About Capital Works and Infrastructure

Capital Works and Infrastructure are responsible for capital projects throughout the Austin Hospital (AH), Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre (RTRC) and the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital (HRH) and outlying services. Capital developments and regenerations provide an appropriate environment for the patients, staff and visitors which enable Austin Health to deliver the health care and strategic objectives of the organisation.

About the role

As the Project Manager - Capital Works and Infrastructure, you will manage the delivery of refurbishment, new build and infrastructure replacement projects for Austin Health.

A regular day will see you:

* Engaging with stakeholders
* Managing project consultants and contractors
* Undertaking financial and programme control activities
About you

As the Capital Works and Infrastructure Project Manager, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in project delivery outcomes. You'll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you:

* Experience in the management of construction activities in a tertiary hospital environment.
* A construction, project management or engineering (electrical, hydraulic, fire or mechanical) qualification. Trade qualifications will be considered.
* Ability to deal with multiple critical health projects consecutively, and the ability to prioritise to maximise project output and value.
