We are seeking a friendly and experienced medical receptionist to join our team at the Primary Care Medical Clinic in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This is a casual position that will involve providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls efficiently
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical charts
- Assisting with other general administrative duties as required
What we're looking for
- Previous experience working as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with patients, clinicians and other staff
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
- Proficiency in using medical software and computer programs
- A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanor
