JUNIOR MECHANICAL / PIPING DESIGNER – BRISBANE

With offices in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, we offer extensive expertise in project management, planning, engineering design, and construction management.
We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical / Piping Designer with relevant qualifications and/or industry experience to join our multi‐disciplinary team in our head office located in Fortitude Valley.
Reporting to the Director of Terminals, this is a team‐oriented role to work with internal Project Managers and Engineers to draft, model and complete design documentation for terminals projects.

The successful applicant will:
* Hold relevant certifications or have up to 3 years' industry experience
* Be proficient in 2D and 3D design drafting
* Have experience with AutoCAD and Plant 3D
* Demonstrate understanding of design drafting aspects including document control, checking, back‐drafting and on‐site verification
* Have a proven record in producing detailed, high‐quality, and accurate deliverables
* Be proactive and focused on meeting project deadlines
The following will be highly regarded but not essential:
* Experience utilising surveys and/or 3D scans/point clouds
* Experience in multi‐discipline engineering and design consultancies with pipelines, bulk fuels storage and distribution, or process plants
