Job Overview
Senior Child Protection Worker – Fremantle District Office. Responsibilities include child protection, children in care, and family support, responding to concerns about the safety and wellbeing of children and applying the provisions of the Children and Community Services Act 2004. One permanent position is available for immediate filling.
Key Responsibilities
* Take legal action to promote the safety and wellbeing of children where necessary.
* Undertake case work activities of a complex nature.
* Assist and plan with District staff and others to develop community and family capacity to provide a safe environment for children and other vulnerable people.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Social Work
* Bachelor of Psychology
* Relevant Human Services area
All overseas qualifications must be assessed for Australian equivalency and provide evidence of equivalence to the Australian Qualifications Framework.
