About Us

At Ramelius Resources, gold mining isn't just what we do — it's who we are. From our early days at Wattle Dam to becoming one of Australia's most respected gold producers, we've built our success on innovation, resilience, and a commitment to excellence. With a strong pipeline of projects and a focus on sustainable growth, we're investing in new technologies and exploration to shape the future of mining. But what truly sets us apart is our people. We foster a culture of opportunity, respect, and shared ambition — when you grow, we grow.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Health & Safety Superintendent, the Project Health & Safety Advisor plays a key role in supporting safe project execution across construction and capital works on site. Working closely with Processing, Mining, and Major Project teams, you will assist in ensuring contractor activities are delivered safely, in line with legislative requirements, company standards, and critical risk controls. This role is focused on hands‐on safety support, coaching, and monitoring, helping embed a proactive, risk‐based safety culture throughout project delivery.

Your key responsibilities will be
* Support the delivery of a strong site safety culture through visible engagement and coaching
* Assist in ensuring employees and contractors comply with safety systems, critical controls, and legislative requirements
* Contribute to the development and review of project HSE plans, construction safety plans, and risk assessments
* Support health & safety readiness across mobilisation, pre‐starts, commissioning, and close‐out
* Engage with contractors to reinforce safe work practices, expectations, and accountabilities
* Assist in identifying and managing risks associated with high‐risk construction activities (e.g. working at heights, confined spaces, lifting operations, mobile equipment, ground disturbance)
* Participate in investigations into incidents, near misses, and non‐compliances, supporting ICAM methodology as required
* Monitor and report on safety performance, hazards, and emerging risks
* Collaborate with site stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You

You're a proactive and practical safety professional with experience supporting site‐based project or construction activities. You enjoy being hands‐on in the field, working closely with contractors and operational teams to drive safe outcomes. You bring a strong understanding of risk, a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence safe behaviours in a dynamic project environment.

To Be Successful, You'll Bring
* Qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field (minimum Certificate IV or Diploma)
* Experience in Health & Safety roles within mining, construction, or major project environments
* Exposure to contractor safety management and high‐risk work activities
* Working knowledge of WHS legislation, mining regulations, and critical risk frameworks
* ICAM investigation experience (desirable)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage, coach, and influence across all levels
Why Ramelius?
* Competitive salary + short‐term incentive scheme
* 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth
* Excellent career prospects leading into a period of significant investment and project development opportunities
* Be part of a company that values integrity, performance, and people
