About The Role
The Senior Business Analyst will be accountable under broad direction to perform complex work that provides detailed technical and professional business analysis, system analysis, and design or change recommendations that align with the vision and strategic direction of the Agency. They will exercise a considerable degree of independence, working closely with stakeholders across the Agency to gain an in-depth understanding of business processes, technical infrastructure and technical services in the context in which the Agency operates.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for team outcomes, monitor progress, and ensure quality delivery.
- Recommend strategic direction for digitizing workflows, considering broader agency impacts.
- Effectively manage competing priorities and align team goals with agency objectives.
- Contribute to innovation and business improvement strategies.
- Engage in risk management activities, conducting risk assessments throughout project lifecycles.
- Manage competing priorities for business analytical activities, including impact assessments and document coordination.
- Communicate complex policies and key points clearly using diagrams and graphics.
- Understand how other projects impact the team and work collaboratively towards shared goals.
- Manage and facilitate business needs analysis, prioritizing tasks and ensuring coordinated solutions.
- Supervise and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities.
