About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Acurity Developer to join our client's team, a leading global technology company based in Australia. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Acurity software, with proven experience in superannuation, pensions, or financial services systems. This role requires hands‑on development, configuration, and support of Acurity applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, enhance, and maintain Acurity applications in line with business requirements.
* Design, code, test, and implement Acurity modules, reports, and workflows.
* Perform data analysis, migration, and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
* Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
* Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
* Develop technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, and user manuals.
* Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
* Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in Acurity development and configuration (mandatory).
* Strong knowledge of Acurity modules such as contributions, claims, insurance, member registry, or reporting.
* Hands‑on experience with PL/SQL, Oracle databases, and Unix/Linux environments.
* Familiarity with APIs, batch processing, and data migration.
* Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
* Experience in the superannuation, pensions, or financial services industry.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Good to Have:
* Knowledge of cloud integration (AWS/Azure).
* Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, etc.).
* Experience with automation testing frameworks.
* Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in superannuation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Relevant certifications in Acurity or Oracle technologies (preferred).
