Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. As a key member of the bakery, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, rolls, savoury items, and sweet products according to recipes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mix, knead, shape, and proof doughs using both manual and automated baking equipment.
* Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent product quality.
* Decorate and finish products such as scrolls, pastries, and specialty breads.
* Check and maintain ingredient quality, freshness, and stock rotation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate III in Baking (or equivalent qualification).
* Previous experience as a baker in a commercial or retail bakery environment is preferred.
* A strong understanding of baking processes, product presentation, and quality control.
* The ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as rostered.
* Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Team-oriented with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
