Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations across Australia, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain MC trucks in a safe and efficient manner
* Load and unload goods and materials onto trucks
* Plan and execute delivery routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
* Monitor and report any issues or concerns with the truck or delivery process
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete all necessary paperwork
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and ensure their satisfaction with deliveries
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of trucks to ensure they are in good working condition
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of 5 years experience with Multi Combination trailers as an MC Truck Driver
* Valid Multicombination (MC) truck license and clean driving record
* Good knowledge of road safety regulations and procedures
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
* Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed
* Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and troubleshooting
* Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
